services into the east-west trade lanes.

provide on-shore. A fleet of over 50 operated vessels is currently deployed by
Safmarine.

Safmarine has also been recognized for its humanitarian
and environmental work, particularly pertaining to the highly acclaimed
‘Containers in the Community’ programme whereby the shipping line
donates retired seafreight containers to disadvantaged communities to be used
as clinics, schools, computer libraries and spaza shops, and more.
